Things We Hide From the Light by Lucy ScoreMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
"The most important lesson Lina and Nash taught me is that the best kind of love is the one you are brave enough to give freely. Even knowing they could hurt you or disappoint you or break your heart, loving someone exactly as they are is the greatest gift you can ever give" LUCY SCORE.
This being the second book in the series, I have to admit it's very difficult to compare them because both are great in their own ways. Having said that, I have always enjoyed the bad guy - good girl / bad girl - good guy trope dynamics and this being the latter was a bonus to the story.
On another aspect, the female leads in Lucy Score's books are once again so relatable that when I think this is not going to work for me because of the way at times the story is spaced out - longer than necessary in my opinion - I still stick to the female protagonist because there are character traits that resonate deeply with me.
I'm intrigued to find out how the series ends with Lucien and Sloan having been already introduced as "solos" in the first book and intertwined in this one.
